Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Cross-trained in millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal and civil trades.
• Ability to lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches and pipe threaders.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings by welding, brazing, cementing or soldering.
• Attach pipes to walls and structures using brackets and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines with gauges and hydrostatic tests.
• Plan pipe system layouts and installations per specifications.
• Collaborate across trades as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Adapt to additional crafts to fulfill job needs.
