Job summary

Cherokee Millwright in the Operations department is seeking a Multi-Craft Pipefitter. The role centers on laying out, assembling, installing and maintaining pipe systems and related equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, compressed air and industrial production processes. Position requires cross-training across trades (millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil).

Education: high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread and assemble pipe per specifications.
• Attach pipes to walls and fixtures.
• Inspect, test installed systems and pipelines.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation or repair.
• Cross-training across trades as needed.
