Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a brand-new, highly automated food-manufacturing plant in Prattville, Alabama. This on-site role offers a $41.50/hour base pay plus a bonus and an overnight shift differential.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, conduct root-cause analyses, coach operators, assist with capital projects, and maintain strict safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance.
• Multi-craft electrical and mechanical skills.
• Willing to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 plant, including nights.
• Good communicator who can coach others.
• Keeps safety standards under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated equipment (electrical and mechanical).
• Complete PMs on time and to standard.
• Find root causes using structured problem solving (e.g., 5 Whys).
• Coach operators on basic equipment care and machine setup.
• Help install, commission, and test new equipment on capital projects.
• Document work orders and completions in the ERP system.
• Participate in shift start meetings, short interval control, and asset care reviews.
• Contribute to line improvement projects.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and food-safety rules; keep areas clean and organized (5S).
