Candidate will join a manufacturing team on a permanent basis, offering a pay range of $36-$44 per hour. Onsite work with full PPE and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs facility and production equipment with a strong focus on both electrical and mechanical systems. This role works in a manufacturing environment and is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of industrial machinery, controls, and support systems across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation at all times.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on a wide range of industrial equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild, install, and commission equipment, including industrial machinery and associated control systems.
• Work with industrial controls and control panels, including Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and PLC-based systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to identify and resolve control-related issues affecting production equipment.
• Repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components on production machines such as metal fabricating and stamping machines, material handling systems, automated assembly machines, degreasing equipment, anodize lines, and conveyor systems.
• Repair or replace damaged air, chemical, water, and hydraulic pipes on machines, including measuring, cutting, threading, and installing new piping.
• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Support welding-related repairs and fabrication tasks as needed to maintain or modify equipment.
• Assist with equipment degreasing and maintenance of anodize machines and lines to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize work, communicate equipment status, and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety procedures and work in full PPE while performing maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to support accurate recordkeeping and ongoing reliability efforts.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience with production and facility equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with schematics and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and support systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and control panels.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, including troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic components and systems.
• Experience working with pneumatic systems and components on production equipment.
• Ability to repair and replace air, chemical, water, and hydraulic piping, including measuring, cutting, threading, and installation.
• Background in welding sufficient to support equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Capability to troubleshoot and maintain degreasing equipment and anodize machines/lines.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in full PPE for extended periods.
• Willingness and ability to work an overnight schedule in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Heath, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
