OmniSource, a Steel Dynamics subsidiary, seeks a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the auto shredder and supporting systems. You will work closely with production to resolve issues and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires strong abilities in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repairs and welding, with attention to safety and preventive maintenance practices. On-site, full-time with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in schematics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical blueprints.
• Skilled in welding and fabrication with arc welds (stick and MIG).
• Able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

• Perform scheduled maintenance on the shredder and related equipment per guidelines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Diagnose issues, replace worn parts and repair leaks to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installing utilities and equipment; follow all safety protocols.
