Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a large, automated food manufacturing plant in Prattville, AL. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AAS, apprenticeship, or technical certification preferred.
• Five-plus years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Multi-craft skills on electrical and mechanical.
• Able to troubleshoot alone and reach root causes.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights in a 24/7 plant.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated equipment (electrical and mechanical).
• Complete PMs on time and to standard.
• Identify root causes using structured problem solving (5 Whys).
• Coach operators on equipment care and setup.
• Install, commission, and test new equipment on capital projects.
• Document work orders in the ERP system.
• Attend shift start meetings, sprint reviews, and asset care discussions.
• Contribute to line improvement projects.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and food safety rules.
• Keep work areas clean and organized per 5S.
