Camden Property Trust is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the financial, administrative, and resident services functions across a multifamily portfolio. You will manage facilities, contracts, vendors, and resident relations while supporting General Manager and supervising maintenance staff.

The role requires strong professionalism, decision-making, and a commitment to Camden culture, with oversight of site operations and coordination with the central processing team.

Qualifications

• On-site experience in residential property management required, supervisory experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overall operation and success of assigned multifamily portfolio, including customer sentiment, occupancy, retention, NOI, expenses, and performance goals.
• Collaborate with General Manager and support departments to create strategic plans to meet goals and maximize portfolio results.
• Supervise maintenance team members and participate in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Promote engagement with weekly check-ins and maintain an open-door policy for staff concerns.
• Oversee facilities management, contract administration, vendor relationships, and capital improvements.
• Manage resident relations issues for the portfolio and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Interface with central processing team for essential accounting functions (close out, statements, etc.).
• Travel as needed for related activities and to support site operations.
