Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of healthcare registration, patient access, insurance benefits, or medical office operations.
• Two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and payer requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with electronic health records and scheduling systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass drug, alcohol, background checks; travel between clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of registration, scheduling, and patient benefits across clinic locations.
• Provide leadership, onboarding, coaching, and performance management for front office staff.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Monitor workflow efficiency and implement process improvements for patient access.
• Coordinate with leadership and HR on hiring, evaluations, and actions.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
• Serve as a resource on insurance verification and alternate resources.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to support continuity of care and access.
