Job summary

Pilot is seeking a Consultant, Payroll Operations to own end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients from Nashville. You will manage inputs, configurations, testing, and multi-state tax compliance while coordinating benefits administration and HRIS changes.

The role requires hands-on payroll processing experience and strong communication to ensure accurate, timely payroll and scalable processes for growing teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in payroll administration, payroll operations, HR operations or benefits administration.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience across federal, state and local tax; multi-state registrations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the payroll cycle end to end for a portfolio of clients, including inputs, configurations, testing, and multi-state tax compliance.
• Administer benefits and HR operations across plans and platforms; manage onboarding/offboarding and data changes in HRIS/payroll systems.
• Serve as the client’s operational partner, translating needs into scalable processes and documenting workflows.
