Job summary

CESO, Inc. in Brentwood, TN seeks a Construction Manager to oversee multiple projects and act as an extension of the owner's design and construction staff.

You will supervise general contractors, engineers, internal client departments, and third-party vendors to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Key duties include reviewing drawings and schedules, coordinating vendor proposals, leading weekly construction meetings, inspecting progress on site, approving pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 4+ years managing design/construction projects preferred.
• Alternative: 10 years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documentation to support project objectives.
• Lead weekly project meetings and document progress.
• Inspect on-site work to verify schedule and quality adherence.
• Coordinate vendor proposals and awards with clients.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety standards, and regulations.
• Review monthly pay applications for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage project startup activities and close-out documentation.
• Proactively communicate issues to leadership and clients.
