Job summary

Boerne ISD is seeking a Custodian (Floater) to support district facilities across campuses. Immediate start; you may be assigned to various campuses and departments based on district needs. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, restroom sanitation, equipment checks, and following district policies. Strong communication and reliability are valued; bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check.
• Preferred: Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide support at various district campuses and/or locations as assigned.
• Report to designated campus/department and adjust as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to work at different district locations and provide coverage.
• Perform major cleaning tasks (vacuuming, wet-mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal).
• Clean restrooms and fixtures; disinfect throughout.
• Wash windows and sills; replace light bulbs.
• Lift and move furniture, boxes, and cafeteria tables (min. 55 lbs).
• Follow safety procedures and report major repairs promptly.
