Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Sales & Events Coordinator to support the Sales and Events teams for the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley and Element by Marriott Mission Valley. You will coordinate inquiries, quotes, reports, and documentation across both brands, ensuring timely, accurate execution of events.

The role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Administrative support experience in a hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Proficiency with event sales systems and reporting tools is expected.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound sales and catering calls; create quotes in CI/TY.
• Distribute show-room availability and daily reports to teams.
• Monitor inboxes and route inquiries; manage leads and deposits.
• Assist with contracts, proposals, and addendums; track deadlines.
• Prepare group resume batches and distribute to operations.
