Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 years of small business and consumer lending experience (previous lending authority preferred)
• 7 years of directly related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years of multi-branch management preferred
• S.A.F.E. Act registry
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Achieves Retail banking goals for all branches by overseeing sales, service, operational and financial goals and customer experience
• Developing and implementing key initiatives
• Implementing growth goals including but not limited to branch sales and service goals
• Managing sales efforts through implementation of sales routines, SMART goals, and coaching
• Establishing appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Partnering with revenue generating departments including Mortgage, Commercial, Wealth Management, Private Banking, as well as Marketing and Human Resources to deliver exceptional sales, service and operational results
• Adhering to all compliance rules and regulations, and working closely with compliance
• Coaching and regular branch visits to establish goals and develop actions to meet or exceed expectations
• Providing consistent inspection for results and timely coaching for improved performance
• Being involved with bank-sponsored events and other community activities along with direct reports
• Proactively partnering with VP, Branch Banking and Human Resources to discuss colleague performance and/or performance/ behavior concerns to address issues promptly, including appropriate documentation as necessary
• Reviewing performance and at-work behaviors through accurate assessments and thoughtful interactions
• Conducting regular and ongoing sales meetings to identify opportunities and recognize positive outcomes/behaviors
• Actively participate as needed on bank sponsored committees
• Seek ways to streamline services / workflow to improve efficiency
• Other duties as assigned
