Job summary

Preferred Utilities is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to own setups and operations on Haas/Okuma mills and 5+ axis CAM workflows. From first-piece to final inspection, you will ensure parts meet spec through bench gauging, process verification, and proper documentation.

You will perform light preventative maintenance, participate in safety programs, and collaborate with a team to sustain high quality and throughput while keeping work area clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• From first-piece to final inspection, you’ll drive quality and continuity across CNC mills and lathes.
• Identify and replace parts as necessary to maintain process capability and throughput.
• Follow Standard Work and maintain documentation and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Own the setup, troubleshooting, and operation of CNC Milling and Turning Machines.
• Confirm conformance using bench gauging and inspection techniques before releasing parts.
• Perform light preventative maintenance to sustain machine performance.
• Escalate safety violations and participate in safety programs.
• Keep a clean, safe, and compliant work area while supporting production commitments.
• Complete testing and adjustments to meet final requirements.
