Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the setup, troubleshooting, and operation of CNC Milling and Turning Machines.
• Confirm conformance using inspection techniques before releasing parts.
• Apply Standard Work rigorously across setup, operation, verification, inspection, and material handling.
• Perform light preventative maintenance to sustain machine performance and minimize downtime.

How you'll contribute

From first-piece to final inspection, you’ll drive quality and continuity across CNC mills and lathes:

• Own the setup, troubleshooting, and operation of CNC Milling and Turning Machines to achieve consistent, high-quality output.
• Confirm conformance using bench gauging and appropriate inspection techniques before releasing parts.
• Apply Standard Work rigorously—setup/operation, process verification, inspection, documentation, and material handling.
• Perform light preventative maintenance to sustain machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Escalate any safety violations, equipment misusage, or improperly performed work to your supervisor and provide input that may support corrective actions, including discipline.

Safety, teamwork, and housekeeping

• Participate fully in safety programs, including hazardous material handling and disposal, per regulations and company procedures.
• Use PPE—such as safety shoes, eyewear, gloves, masks, shields, and coats—if needed.
• Keep a clean, compliant work environment and follow all company and safety rules and regulations.
• Collaborate as a dependable team player and foster positive relationships with peers.

Quality and continuity

• Complete testing and adjustment of parts, as needed, to meet final requirements.
• Identify and replace parts, as necessary, to maintain process capability and throughput.
• Support other tasks as required to meet production commitments.
