Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, MA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX, NJ.

This position requires complex technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0. The candidate needs a very strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts, API management fundamentals, and the ability to create end-to-end integration deliverables, technical specifications, and recommend high-quality solutions for Mule ESB platforms.

The role involves analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in coordination with management and end users, following the SDLC. It includes system support, issue resolution, and potentially overseeing less experienced analysts or assisting in projects.

Responsibilities

• System Enhancement: Improve department systems, processes, and applications using MuleSoft. Construct APIs, develop tests, design materials, estimate feature implementation times, and validate applications.

• Analysis: Gather data, determine scope and impact, review specifications, troubleshoot Mule ESB issues, and use debugging tools.

• Business Support: Provide technical support for production systems, draft documentation, and follow agile, scrum, or waterfall methodologies.

• Technical Expertise: Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, deploy to cloud, create interfaces and integration flows, and work with components like Anypoint Studio, Connectors, Database, MSMQ, HTTP, Web Services, and Email. Develop API architecture with various API layers and manage components in the Anypoint platform.

• On-call Support: Provide 24/7 support via rotation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of application engineering experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor's in Computer Science.

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, CloudHub, On-Prem deployment.
• MuleSoft certification is preferred.
• Experience creating custom policies, securing APIs, integrating with Salesforce, SQL databases, and using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, SOAP-UI, JMeter), and agile development practices.
