Job description

Overview

This is a remote role available only in specific states: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, MA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX, NJ.

This position requires extensive technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0, including a strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts, API Management fundamentals, and ability to create end-to-end integration deliverables, technical specifications, and high-quality solutions for the Mule ESB platform.

The candidate should be capable of analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in coordination with management and end users, following the Enterprise SDLC. Responsibilities include supporting production systems by resolving issues and ensuring functionality. May also oversee less experienced analysts or assist in special projects.

Responsibilities

1. System Enhancement: Improve department systems, processes, and applications using MuleSoft Platform to build APIs, develop tests, and design materials. Provide estimates for new features and assist with implementation. Execute test plans to validate applications.
2. Analysis: Gather data on user requests, determine scope and impact, review specifications, and troubleshoot Mule ESB issues using debugging and configuration tools.
3. Business Support: Offer technical support for production systems, address issues, anticipate maintenance, and produce documentation, including technical specifications and application designs. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.
4. Technical Expertise: Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, deploy to Cloud, and develop interfaces using Mule ESB components like Anypoint Studio, Connectors, Database, MSMQ, HTTP, Web Services, and Email. Experience with API architecture and API management is essential.
5. On-call Support: Provide 24/7 support on a rotation basis.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of Application Engineering experience, or a High School Diploma with 8 years of experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, CloudHub, and On-Prem deployments.
• Certification in MuleSoft is preferred.
• Experience creating custom policies, securing APIs, integrating with Salesforce and SQL databases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, API testing tools (Postman, SOAP-UI, JMeter), and Agile development.
