Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, MA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX, NJ.

This position requires complex technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0, including a strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts. The candidate should have a good grasp of API management fundamentals and the ability to create end-to-end integration deliverables, technical specifications, and recommend high-quality solutions for Mule ESB platform.

The role involves analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in coordination with management and end users, following the Enterprise SDLC. It may also include supporting production systems, resolving issues, and overseeing less experienced analysts or assisting in projects.

Responsibilities

• System Enhancement: Evaluate and improve systems, processes, and applications using MuleSoft Platform to construct APIs, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provide time estimates for features and assist in implementation and testing.
• Analysis: Gather data on user requests, determine scope and impact, and inspect specifications and documentation for accuracy. Troubleshoot Mule ESB issues using debugging and configuration tools.
• Business Support: Provide technical support for production systems, address issues, and ensure functionality. Draft technical and operational documentation. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, deploy into cloud environments, and work with components like Anypoint Studio, Connectors, Database, MSMQ, HTTP, Web Services, and Email. Create API architecture with various API layers and work with API management tools.
• On-call Support: Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of Application Engineering experience or High School Diploma with 8 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, CloudHub, and On-Prem deployments.
• Certification in MuleSoft is preferred.
• Experience creating custom policies, securing APIs, and integrating with Salesforce and SQL databases.
• Experience with SQL Server, Azure DevOps, GIT, API testing tools, and Agile development.
