Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, MA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX, NJ.

This position requires complex technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0. The candidate needs a very strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts, API Management fundamentals, and the ability to create end-to-end integration deliverables and technical specifications, recommending high-quality solutions for Mule ESB platform.

The role involves analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in coordination with management, associates, and end users, following the Enterprise SDLC. It also includes production system support, issue resolution, and potentially overseeing less experienced analysts or assisting in special projects.

Responsibilities

• System Enhancement: Evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications using MuleSoft Platform to construct APIs, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provide time estimates for system changes and assist in implementation. Execute test plans to validate application functions.

• Analysis: Collect data related to user requests, determine scope, estimates, and impacts. Inspect specifications, code, test plans, and documentation for accuracy. Troubleshoot Mule ESB using debuggers and configuration tools.

• Business Support: Provide technical support to production systems, address issues, and ensure functionality. Draft documentation for systems, end users, and operations, including technical specifications and application designs. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.

• Technical Expertise: Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, deploy into cloud environments, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB components. Work with Anypoint platform components like Exchange Design Center and API management.

• On-call Support: Provide 24/7 on-call support via rotations.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of Application Engineering experience, or a High School Diploma with 8 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor's in Computer Science.

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, CloudHub, and On-Prem deployments.
• MuleSoft certification is preferred.
• Experience creating custom policies, securing APIs, and integrating with Salesforce, SQL databases, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, SOAP-UI, JMeter, and agile development processes.
