Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, MA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX, NJ.

This position requires complex technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0, with a strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts. The candidate should have a good grasp of API management fundamentals and be capable of creating end-to-end integration deliverables, technical specifications, and recommending high-quality solutions for Mule ESB platform.

The role involves analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in coordination with management and end users, following the enterprise SDLC. It also includes serving as production system support, resolving issues, and ensuring ongoing system functionality. May oversee less experienced analysts or assist in special projects.

Responsibilities

• System Enhancement: Evaluate and improve systems, processes, and applications using MuleSoft Platform to construct APIs, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provide time estimates for system changes and assist in implementation. Execute test plans to validate application functions.

• Analysis: Collect data related to user requests, determine scope, estimates, and impacts. Review specifications, coding, test plans, and documentation for accuracy. Troubleshoot Mule ESB issues using debugging and configuration tools.

• Business Support: Provide technical support to production systems, address issues, anticipate maintenance, and ensure end-user needs are met. Draft technical and operational documentation. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.

• Technical Expertise: Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, deploy in cloud environments, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB and related components. Work with Anypoint platform components and API management.

• On-call Support: Provide 24/7 support via rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of Application Engineering experience or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor's in Computer Science.

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, CloudHub, and On-Prem deployments.
• MuleSoft certification is preferred.
• Experience creating custom policies, securing APIs, and integrating with Salesforce and SQL databases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, API testing tools like Postman, SOAP-UI, JMeter, and Agile development.
