Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Mulcher/Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment, including mulchers, Geo Boy, Barko, or skidsteers, for vegetation management on electrical lines. Must have mulcher experience or similar equipment experience.

This full-time position offers a wage range of $20–$24 per hour, benefits such as health insurance and a 401K, and opportunities for storm restoration work. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience in relevant fields preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety rules and operate equipment as directed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and enforce rules.
• Prepare equipment and materials as directed by Foreperson.
• Operate equipment as directed and assist crew members.
