Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a Mulcher/Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Prior mulcher experience or with Geo Boy, Barko or skid steer is required.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $21 per hour, with a pay range of $20–$24. Travel for storm restoration may be required; safety practices and PPE are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must have mulcher experience or Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer.
• High school diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to travel for storm restoration work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Follow safe practices and assist in equipment preparation.
• Perform equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Assist crew and take leadership when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and dispose of debris.
