Job summary

Meeting Street Schools is seeking a Student Support Manager in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will lead the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework, ensuring that students receive the academic support they need to succeed.

Your leadership will drive student outcomes as you manage a team of specialists and collaborate with teachers and families. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a preference for candidates with a valid South Carolina Special Education certification.

The starting salary is $70,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A valid South Carolina Special Education certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of successful prior experience teaching in a homeroom classroom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of the MTSS framework.
• Manage a team of interventionists, specialists, and counselors.
• Create partnerships with teachers, students, and families.
• Oversee progress monitoring of student data.
• Develop and implement professional development opportunities for the student support team.
