Job summary

The Oaks Academy is seeking a Middle School Math Interventionist to deliver targeted, evidence-based math instruction within the MTSS framework. The role focuses on Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for students identified through universal screening and progress monitoring data.

You will work in small groups and one-on-one, interpret assessment results, design interventions, and collaborate with lead teachers to ensure alignment with core mathematics instruction across grades 5–12.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering mathematics instruction within grades 5 through 12.
• Ability to analyze student data and translate findings into targeted instructional plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; teaching experience and teaching license preferred.
• Committed Christian who is a member of, associated with, or seeking to be associated with a Christ-centered community of faith or a church.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and interpret universal screenings to identify Tier 2/3 needs.
• Conduct error analysis to pinpoint skill gaps for targeted instruction.
• Implement progress monitoring and use data to adjust instruction.
• Maintain records of screener data, diagnostics, and progress.
• Design and deliver small-group and individual math interventions.
• Collaborate with MTSS team to align intervention with core instruction.
• Coordinate supports and transitions back to core math when benchmarks met.
