Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher; two years of college (60 credits) preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, mentoring, and MTSS interventions for students in the Learning Support Center.
• Support individualized academic and behavioral interventions aligned with MTSS processes.
• Provide supervision for after-school academic and behavioral interventions and restorative practices.
• Facilitate communication between teachers and students to ensure access to and completion of classwork.
• Provide tutoring and organizational support to students in the Learning Support Center.
• Monitor student behavior and progress and report concerns to teachers and administration.
• Maintain a safe, orderly Learning Support Center environment and monitor space conditions.
