Job summary

Richmond County School System seeks an MTSS School Based Facilitator to coordinate a system-wide MTSS framework and lead data-driven problem solving for student outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education, GA teaching or service certificate, and at least five years in school settings.

It is a 200 days / 10 months contract under Student Services with exempt status. The facilitator collaborates with administrators, teachers and support staff to implement Tier 1–3 supports and monitor

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Education (teaching), behavioral sciences, or related field.
• Certification or Licensure: Georgia teaching (T) certificate in any field; or service (S) certificate in school counseling, social work, or school psychology.
• Knowledge & Skills: MTSS model knowledge, experience implementing interventions and progress monitoring; data-driven decision making; data analysis; intervention management; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MTSS teams to build capacity and fully implement the MTSS framework.
• Coordinate School Action Plan implementation and monitor fidelity and outcomes.
• Develop strategic plans for interventions and growth for all students.
• Align MTSS with School Improvement Plan and support barriers to implementation.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and others to design and monitor supports.
