Job summary

Allegan Public Schools is seeking an MTSS Coordinator at Allegan High School to support the district’s MTSS model, coordinate procedures, trainings, and data-driven interventions. You will collaborate with the building implementation team, develop resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely supports for students.

You will work with the Counseling/SEL team to align behavior, academics, and attendance, provide staff professional development, and communicate with families to sustain a system

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, psychology, school social work or related field.
• Prior MTSS experience in an educational setting.
• Strong data analysis and assessment skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lead and facilitate professional development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and staff to implement district-wide MTSS framework.
• Communicate with District MTSS Coordinator and stakeholders for data collection and staff development.
• Assist in developing and evaluating student plans within MTSS.
• Work with Counseling/SEL to align behavior, academics, and attendance.
• Provide training and professional development on MTSS principles and strategies.
• Monitor interventions and adjust strategies based on data.
