Job summary

Mason Public Schools in Michigan is seeking an MTSS Aide to support a multi-tiered system of supports for students with diverse needs. The role involves one-to-one or small group instruction, data collection on progress, and collaboration with teachers to implement intervention strategies.

The position is in-person, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, 20 hours per week, August to June, with the chance to contribute to a supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Positive attitude and good rapport with students.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tutoring individual students or groups.
• Support teacher in helping students develop a positive self-concept.
• Assist in student intervention work and progress monitoring.
• Prepare intervention materials and keep materials and room neat and organized.
• Work as part of the MTSS team and supervise students at arrival and during part of lunch.
