Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo is seeking an experienced MTC Manager to lead training and operations that prepare thousands of young missionaries to serve worldwide. You will manage teams, staffing, training and budgets, and work with senior church leaders to ensure alignment with mission goals.

In this at-will, fixed-term role, you will translate the vision of the Missionary Executive Council into actionable programs, mentor staff, and foster a culture of excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of progressive professional experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years.
• Proven ability to collaborate with other organizations and external entities to achieve shared goals.
• Deep expertise across strategy, training, service and leadership in a fast-moving environment.
• History of providing innovative direction and coordinating large, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams through managers and supervisors to achieve training and staffing goals.
• Own performance and results of teams, focusing on missionary preparation and field outcomes.
• Collaborate with MTC presidency and ecclesiastical leaders to align spiritual and operational training.
• Directly teach and train missionaries in workshops and learning settings.
• Partner with global management to strengthen missionary training across the MTC network.
