Augsburg University invites applications for a non-tenure track MSW Field Director to begin January 2027. This full-time, 10-month, benefits-eligible position is a three-year limited-term appointment.

The candidate will oversee the MSW field education program, teach MSW courses, and ensure accreditation standards are met. In-person classes meet two weekends per month with online components.

Qualificações

• - A Master’s of Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program is required.
• - A minimum of 3 years of direct social work practice experience.
• - A current graduate level social work license (LGSW, LICSW, or LISW), or eligibility for licensure in the state of Minnesota.
• - Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• - Skills to navigate technological platforms for data collection, management and communication and hybrid and online learning pedagogies.
• - Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• - Strong interpersonal skills required to work with students, faculty, staff, other academic professionals and with community partners.
• - Demonstrated commitment to social work education, and familiarity with fulfilling the requirements of the CSWE accreditation standards.
• - Ability to commit to the core attributes of the departmental mission, particularly in terms of anti-racist and anti-oppressive social work practice.

Responsabilidades

• - Represent Augsburg’s MSW Field Program with field sites and stakeholders.
• - Recruit, develop, approve and maintain field placements for MSW students.
• - Coordinate field orientation and continuing education for field agencies and instructors.
• - Manage MSW field program documentation, calendars, and learning agendas.
• - Match and refer students to field placements; support problem-solving around field placement challenges.
• - Teach MSW courses and field seminars; update the MSW Field Manual.
