Job summary

The role involves interviewing clients, developing action plans, and coordinating with community resources. Licensure as an LMSW in Michigan is required; Basic Life Support is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work from accredited institution.
• State of Michigan LMSW licensure.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines nature of client's situation by interviewing client, assessing information and on-site visits.
• Establishes course of action by exploring options and setting goals with client.
• Obtains assistance for client by referring to community resources and arranging appointments.
• Fosters client action by interpreting attitudes and explaining new options.
• Performs individual and/or family therapy, as indicated.
