flyExclusive is seeking experienced and driven A&P Technicians to join our Mobile Service Unit (MSU) team. In this high-impact role, you will respond to aircraft-on-ground (AOG) events, delivering rapid, on-site maintenance services to external customers across a variety of business and corporate aviation platforms.

Qualifications

Valid FAA A&P certificate is required.
Minimum 8 years aircraft maintenance experience, with recent AOG/MSU or field service preferred.

Responsibilities

Rapidly respond to AOG events and perform high-quality field maintenance.
Perform preventive/scheduled maintenance as needed.
Troubleshoot discrepancies per FAA and OEM requirements.
Communicate with external customers to manage scope and timelines.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and driven A&P Technicians to join our Mobile Service Unit (MSU) team. In this high-impact role, you will respond to aircraft-on-ground (AOG) events, delivering rapid, on-site maintenance services to external customers across a variety of business and corporate aviation platforms. You’ll provide service across aircraft types including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Cessna, King Air, Embraer, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Rapidly deploy to AOG events and perform high-quality maintenance in the field
Perform Aircraft preventative/scheduled maintenance when required
Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently and in compliance with FAA and OEM requirements
Communicate directly with external customers to manage expectations, scope of work, and completion timelines
Accurately document all maintenance performed using internal systems
Maintain readiness of assigned AOG vehicle, tools, and inventory
Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service on-site
Ensure all actions are performed with safety and regulatory compliance at the forefront.

Required Skills And Abilities

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Clear, professional communication with external clients
Proficiency with maintenance tracking software (CAMP, Corridor, Airtable, etc.)
Ability to work independently and represent the company on-site
Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-service focused

Work Environment

Extended hours or weekend work may be required based on AOG demand and customer volume
The role requires rapid response to aircraft AOG situations, sometimes in high-pressure or adverse conditions. PPE and safety protocols must be strictly followed.
Travel to customer locations required

Schedule And Compensation

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off. Floaters are required to travel to location prior to the start of the week and after the end of the week.
Per Diem: A daily per diem of $66 will be provided to cover meals and incidental expenses.
Additional: Company-provided uniforms, tools, laptop, and stocked MSU truck

Required Qualifications

Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
Must possess and maintain a driving record that meets the Company's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards and is insurable under the Company's insurance policy.
Minimum 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with recent AOG/MSU or field service experience strongly preferred

Valid driver's license and ability to travel on short notice

Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.
