Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking experienced and driven A&P Technicians to join our Mobile Service Unit (MSU) team. In this high-impact role, you will respond to aircraft-on-ground (AOG) events, delivering rapid, on-site maintenance services to external customers across a variety of business and corporate aviation platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Recent AOG/MSU or field service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

In this high-impact role, you will respond to aircraft-on-ground (AOG) events, delivering rapid, on-site maintenance services to external customers across a variety of business and corporate aviation platforms. You’ll provide service across aircraft types including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Cessna, King Air, Embraer, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly deploy to AOG events and perform high-quality maintenance in the field
• Perform Aircraft preventative/scheduled maintenance when required
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently and in compliance with FAA and OEM requirements
• Communicate directly with external customers to manage expectations, scope of work, and completion timelines
• Accurately document all maintenance performed using internal systems
• Maintain readiness of assigned AOG vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service on-site
• Ensure all actions are performed with safety and regulatory compliance at the forefront.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Clear, professional communication with external clients
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking software (CAMP, Corridor, Airtable, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and represent the company on-site
• Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-service focused
• Extended hours or weekend work may be required based on AOG demand and customer volume
• The role requires rapid response to aircraft AOG situations, sometimes in high-pressure or adverse conditions. PPE and safety protocols must be strictly followed.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off. Floaters are required to travel to location prior to the start of the week and after the end of the week.
• Per Diem: A daily per diem of $66 will be provided to cover meals and incidental expenses.
• Additional: Company-provided uniforms, tools, laptop, and stocked MSU truck

Required Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a driving record that meets the Company's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards and is insurable under the Company's insurance policy.
• Minimum 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with recent AOG/MSU or field service experience strongly preferred
