Job summary

One Hope United is seeking an MST Therapist to deliver family-based therapy to youth aged 12–17. The role emphasizes a systemic approach, engagement with families, and in-home sessions in Collinsville, IL. A car is required to travel to visits and schools.

The position involves coordinating with caregivers, maintaining documentation, and completing MST-related training while managing a small caseload of five families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related subject area.
• Bachelor's degree with substantial social service experience working with families and youth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MST assessment, including review of referral information, engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing interventions.
• Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented solutions.
• Conduct sessions/meetings in the youth's natural environment (homes, schools, attends court dates, community). Must have a car to get to all these meetings.
• Maintain clear, concise documentation of treatment efforts and ensure compliance with MST principles and processes.
• Engage with all relevant systems and participants to maintain alignment throughout MST treatment.
• Participate in MST training, supervision, and consultation activities.
• Maintain caseload of 5 families at a time.

Education
