Job summary

Montana State University - Office of Student Engagement is seeking a non-tenure track MSSE Instructor to teach graduate-level science education courses. Courses may be online or on campus and could occur during fall, spring, or summer sessions.

The pool supports multiple terms and funding availability. Qualifications include a doctoral or master’s degree in science fields and prior university teaching or K-12 teaching experience, with curriculum development experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or master’s degree in science, science education, engineering, agriculture or other science education fields.
• University teaching experience, and/or experience teaching K-12, and/or experience working as an education coordinator or curriculum developer in public or private organizations.

Responsibilities

• Teach MSSE online and/or campus field/lab science courses in Ecology, Biology, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Earth Science/Geology, Land Resources and Environmental Science, Microbiology, Physics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Plant Science and Education during fall/spring semesters and/or summer session.
