Brief Position Overview

Montana State University seeks qualified individuals to provide non-tenured level instruction and/or related functions. Applications are accepted on a continual basis and will be maintained in the hiring pool for two (2) years. After this period, candidates must re‑submit materials for continued consideration. Appointments are part‑time and vary in duration (a couple of weeks, a semester, or an academic year), depending on departmental needs. Salary is based on the number of courses taught and the duration of the appointment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Advising, evaluating and assisting students.
• Participating in weekly faculty meetings.
• Meeting regularly with, collaborating with, and evaluating a peer leader if one is assigned to your section.
