Job summary

Missouri State University seeks an Adjunct/Per Course Faculty member in Special Education for the Spring 2027 term at the Springfield Campus. The selected candidate will teach various Special Education courses, plan, communicate with students, and manage grades in a flexible format including on-campus, online, or blended delivery.

Minimum qualifications require a Master’s degree or equivalent experience acceptable by the Dean; teaching experience in Special Education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience per Dean’s acceptance.
• Experience teaching or course facilitation in Special Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach various courses within Special Education Programs.
• Plan, communicate with students, and manage grades for assigned courses.
• Duties include teaching, grading, and other responsibilities typical of a course instructor.
• Adjunct Faculty may teach face-to-face on-campus, asynchronously or synchronously online, or in blended formats.
