Job summary

Automated Business Solutions in Southington, CT is hiring a Managed IT Services Level 1 Technician to support small to mid-size clients in a fast-paced environment. You will resolve everyday IT issues, support IT infrastructure, and deliver exceptional client experiences while growing hands-on knowledge.

You will work with experienced teammates, gain real-world exposure, and have opportunities to advance toward Level 2 roles. Strong communication and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience (help desk, internship, or lab).
• Foundational certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ (or working toward).
• Experience in an MSP environment is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 remote technical support for Windows OS, MS 365, and common business software.
• Serve as first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, perform diagnostics, and handle basic network issues.
• Assist with Windows Server tasks under supervision and manage user accounts.
• Log, track, and document troubleshooting steps in PSA tools and maintain client docs.
