Job summary

Our client in Petoskey, MI is seeking an L2/L3 IT Implementation Specialist with MSP experience to lead client implementations, deploy servers and networking gear, and ensure smooth handoffs to managed services. Position involves on-site work, hardware deployments, and after-hours support where needed.

The role requires 2+ years MSP IT implementation (L2) or 4+ years (L3), solid Microsoft 365 and Active Directory skills, and strong networking fundamentals for diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT implementation experience within a MSP environment (L2); 4+ years for L3.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise networking equipment.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote management tools.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues (L3).

Responsibilities

• Complete implementation projects on time and within budgeted hours.
• Perform new client onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Install, configure, and deploy servers, workstations, networking equipment, and other hardware.
• Provide on-site implementation and deployment support for client environments.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, networking, printers, scanners, and mobile devices during implementations.
• Provide Day 0 support and ensure a smooth handoff to the Managed Services team.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Develop work estimates and recommend technical solutions based on project requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
