Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in Michigan seeks an MSN-prepared RN to join as Clinical Practice Leader on 3 East and Short Stay units. The CPL acts as a nursing leader to drive safety, quality, and outcomes, translating evidence into practice and mentoring staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing leadership, governance, and process improvement to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. Full-time, day shift, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's of Science in Nursing required (Clinical, Education, or Administration).
• Three to five years of acute care nursing experience.
• Progressive experience involving staff education, supervision, and problem solving at unit/organizational level.
• Current RN licensure in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Performs holistic assessments and develops/implements plans of care.
• Assesses patient response to treatment in collaboration with care providers.
• Consults on complex problems and documents findings in the EHR.
• Communicates patient progress with physicians and other providers.
• Ensures patient/family preparation across the care continuum, prioritizing high-risk or complex patients.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to synthesize data for optimal outcomes.
• Applies evidence-based practice to improve patient care outcomes.
• Leads/participates in daily quality huddles and unit governance activities.
• Coaches staff and reinforces nursing practice expectations.
• Identifies resources needed for optimal patient care and looks for cost-saving opportunities.
• Drives unit-level quality improvement initiatives and risk reduction.
• Mentors and supports professional development through residency programs and projects.
