Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston Hospital in Brighton, MI seeks a Clinical Practice Leader for the ICU/PCU to join the nursing leadership team and drive safety and quality. The CPL translates evidence into practice, designs care and evaluates outcomes for a 40-bed high-acuity unit.

Requires an MSN in Nursing and 3–5 years of acute care nursing with Michigan RN licensure, plus coaching and governance capabilities to advance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with clinical, education, or administration focus.
• Three to five years of acute care nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Performs holistic assessments and develops/implements care plans.
• Communicates patient progress in medical records and with physicians.
• Prepare patients and families for care across the continuum.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Applies evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Leads daily quality huddles and participates in governance.
• Coaches staff and reinforces nursing practice expectations.
• Leads unit-level quality improvements and root cause analyses.
• Mentors nursing colleagues and supports residency and projects.
