Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to cover Southeast US in a remote role with travel up to 60–80%.

You will build relationships with investigators, exchange scientific data, and prepare clinical sites for potential product launch. The role requires strong clinical credibility, excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment across Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN).
• Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or field-based biotech/pharma roles.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data with clarity to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, prelaunch/launch environment.
• Experience in neurology or CNS disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific partner to investigators and key stakeholders, building trusted relationships to support prelaunch readiness and successful product adoption.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on disease state, clinical data, and the ulixacaltimide profile, ensuring clear understanding of its potential role in treatment.
• Educate and prepare clinical sites and healthcare providers for launch, including patient identification, treatment considerations, and integration into clinical practice.
• Proactively gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and emerging influencers, supporting advocacy and scientific engagement strategies.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align on and execute field strategy.
• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and advisory engagements, translating external insights into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain deep expertise in CNS/neurology and apply insights to field strategy.
