Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Southeast region. This remote, field-based role requires up to 60–80% travel and focuses on prelaunch and launch activities, scientific exchange, and investigator engagement in CNS disorders.

You will educate healthcare professionals on disease state and emerging data, translate clinical findings into actionable insights, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape field strategy in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN).
• Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, clinical care, or field-based roles within biotech/pharma.
• Willingness to travel ~60–80% in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific partner to investigators and stakeholders for prelaunch readiness and product adoption.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on disease state, clinical data, and the ilixacaltimide profile.
• Educate clinical sites and healthcare providers for launch, including patient identification and treatment considerations.
• Synthesize field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders to develop advocacy and engagement plans.
• Collaborate with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams on field strategy.
• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and advisory engagements with external insights.
• Maintain deep CNS/neurology expertise and monitor treatment landscapes and competition.
• Ensure field activities comply with regulatory requirements and Praxis SOPs.
