Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison in the Great Lakes territory (IL,MI, MN, WI, IN, IA, ND, SD) to advance scientific exchange and support the development of allogeneic cell therapies. You will build deep relationships with KOLs, investigators and HCPs, align with Medical Affairs objectives, and collaborate across regulatory, clinical development, and market access teams.

Qualifications

Advanced clinical degree in life-science or basic-science discipline and industry experience as an MSL
Significant clinical/industry experience in malignant hematology and HSCT/cellular therapy
Strong understanding of cell therapy ecosystem and center operations

Responsibilities

Serve as SME in stem cell transplantation and cellular immunotherapy.
Develop and maintain scientific relationships with academic experts and HCPs within territory.
Prepare territory management plan and align with Medical Leadership.
Support onboarding activities with Orca Pod field team and engage with payers per Market Access plan.
Keep current on hematologic malignancies and competitive landscape.
Lead IST program liaison and support protocol development and governance.
Communicate scientific insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Support clinical trial activities and patient recruitment.
Translate trial data and external feedback into actionable recommendations.
Provide education to commercial teams on therapies and disease states.
