Job summary

Orca Bio seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to foster scientific exchange with key opinion leaders in hematology and cellular therapy across a defined Ohio Valley territory. The MSL will support scientific and clinical strategy, engage investigators, and help advance Orca Bio’s next-generation cell therapies with a focus on HSCT and regulatory considerations.

The role requires deep experience in malignant hematology, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree required with MSL experience.
• Experience in malignant hematology, HSCT, cellular therapy or CAR-T.
• Strong understanding of cell therapy ecosystem and transplant operations.
• Familiarity with clinical development, regulatory and HEOR data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly.
• Collaborative mindset across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific expert in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy providing insights on treatment paradigms, operations, and patient access.
• Develop and maintain relationships with academic experts, HCPs and payers to support Orca Bio strategies.
• Lead territory management and coordinate with medical leadership and field teams.
• Support advisory boards, investigator meetings, congresses and speaker bureaus as needed.
• Support clinical trial activities and patient recruitment with adherence to GCP.
