Qualifications

• Enrolled in community college or four-year university pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Must be enrolled full-time.
• GPA: 2.5 or higher.
• MSE graduate or alumni (completed the high school at MSE).

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning, preparing, and implementing lesson plans in line with school’s curriculum structure and in adherence to state curriculum standards.
• Works alongside experienced teacher (or after school instructor) assisting in the delivery of teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Provide in-class support to specific learners to reinforce learning methods and to provide motivation and encouragement to improve academic achievement.
• Provide leadership and support to after school curriculum including leadership of sports clubs and academic societies.
• Support school staff and administrators with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Assist with other assistant teaching duties as necessary
