As an Automotive Technician in (City, State) specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.

Days: M-F

Shift: 7pm - 3:30am

Auto Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle records manually and digitally
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on light and medium-duty vehicles
• Conduct safety inspections and document findings
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
• Inspect and work on vehicle undercarriage
• Access all vehicle areas for maintenance
• Handle parts movement and installation
• Maintain Mobile Service Truck
• Respond to off-site client requests
• Communicate with clients via email and phone
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years’ vehicle maintenance experience or auto/diesel tech diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• CMV operation certification above 10K with medical certification
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, Email
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Own hand tools and toolbox

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to traffic, dust, diesel fumes, noise, chemicals, oils, and greases
• Ability to move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling required
