Job summary

Abzena is seeking an experienced and highly skilled MSAT Engineer/Scientist with deep expertise in bioconjugation, including ADCs and AOCs, to support clinical and commercial cGMP manufacturing. The MSAT engineer will bridge process development and manufacturing, ensuring successful technology transfer, readiness, and robustness across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

PhD or MS in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in biopharma MSAT or technical operations, focusing on ADC/AOC processes.
Strong GMP operations knowledge and batch documentation experience.

Responsibilities

Adhere to GDP, GLP, and cGMP requirements and Abzena policies.
Serve as MSAT SME for bioconjugation (ADC/AOC) across development to commercial.
Lead technology transfer into cGMP manufacturing and conduct risk assessments.
Author and revise cGMP batch records and related documentation.
Support process investigations and root-cause analyses for conjugation, UF/DF, and chromatography.
