Job summary

Summit Public Schools is seeking an MS Science Teacher to join our mission-driven team in California for SY26-27. You will mentor a consistent group of students, deliver project-based science instruction, and participate in advisory and collaborative planning with colleagues.

You’ll lead biweekly professional development and engage in Summit’s culture of continuous improvement, equity, and high expectations. A California teaching credential and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Teaching Credential in California or another US state.
• Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree in Education preferred but not required.
• Clear health and background check.
• Teaching experience in your subject is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school science according to Summit’s schedule.
• Mentor a group of students as their advisor.
• Deliver project-based learning during Project Time.
• Collaborate with colleagues in professional development and planning.
