Job summary

Collier County Public Schools is seeking a MS basketball coach to support athletic programs. This supplemental coaching position requires a current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification, a high school diploma or GED, and First Aid/CPR/AED (BLS).

You will coach games and practices, emphasize safety, and collaborate with the athletics staff. Applicants must complete the online CCPS application and submit required documents.

Qualifications

• Must have online application on CCPS portal.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (First Aid, CPR and AED).

Responsibilities

• Coaches middle school basketball (MS basketball) activities.
• Supervises players during practices and games to ensure safety.
• Collaborates with athletics staff and school administration.

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
